SPEACIALTY KAYAK TOURS 2018-11-09T23:01:54+00:00

Adventure Paddle Tours owner and operator Kyle Mckenzie is now offering specialty boat assisted tours in collaboration with Captain Jim Stiber on his custom 22 foot Summer Breeze tritoon boat. Combining Capt. Jim’s 15 years of Everglades boating experience and Kyle McKenzie’s 15 years of certified sea kayak guide instruction you will be hard pressed to find a company better equipped or more experienced to guide you through the never-ending Everglades National Park. All of our boat assisted tours launch from the Port of the Islands Marina, just 15 minutes South East of Naples, FL, providing our guests with direct access to the Everglades National Park and 10,000 Islands Wildlife Refuge. From the Port of the Islands Marina guests will boat through a 3 mile, no wake, manatee protection zone before hitting the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Our shorter kayak tours alone typically spot manatees within the manatee protection zone, combine an extended, narrated boat ride to your day and you’ve just elevated your everglades experience to the next level!

Due to coast guard regulations all boat supported tours are maxed out at 5 guests offering a more intimate and personal experience.

Boat-Assisted Kayak Tours

Boat assisted kayak tours combine the best of a boat tour and a kayak tour, allowing you to access remote areas of the Everglades National Park and 10,000 Islands Wildlife refuge. Climb aboard Capt. Jim’s custom 22 foot Summer Breeze as he provides us with safe passage to a remote, outer, barrier island, all while providing excellent opportunities to spot wildlife and listen to the stories of a time almost forgotten. Once we’ve reached our chosen island we will plan to circumnavigate, allowing us to experience both the famous emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the more protected inner portions, typically covered by the Mangrove forest. With the combination of boating, kayaking and beach walking this tour can be as relaxing or as difficult as our guests would like it to be. 5 hour tour 7am-12pm.

Join Capt Jim on his 22 foot custom Beach Cat and ACA Paddleboard Instructor Kyle McKenzie on a combination boat tour Stand Up Paddleboard tour. Like all of our boat supported tours this tour kicks off with an hour boat ride leaving from the Port of the Islands Marina, eventually making it to a secluded outer island in the Gulf of Mexico. From here guests have the option to circumnavigate the whole island or paddle a portion of the island and walk the rest for some relaxing shelling. This tour is split with an approximately 2 hour boat ride and 2 hours of paddleboarding and shelling.
